Family Bike Trails, Forest Slides and More

Summer at the Foot of the Zugspitze

The Ehrwalder Wettersteinbahnen in the Tiroler Zugspitz Arena are now living up to their reputation as a “family-friendly destination” in summer as well. In addition to the brand-new bike trails, adventurous families can discover a spectacular forest slide adventure trail with six different slides in the new Zugspitzpark. Between treetops and mountain panoramas, the route leads from the top station of the Wettersteinbahn down to the valley station in a completely different way. Sliding instead of hiking is the motto! The new Zugspitzpark

The Ehrwalder Wettersteinbahnen are now in full swing during the summer season as well. Plenty of action awaits the whole family on the mountain: from the top station of the Wettersteinbahn, it’s just a few steps to the new bike trails and the new forest slide park. Hikers and nature lovers are also warmly welcome to take the Wettersteinbahn up the mountain and discover the beautiful natural scenery at the foot of the Zugspitze.
